How does the digital twin scan work?

When you book a project, SellSmart pays a Matterport-certified scanner to capture your home in 3D — inside, outside, condition, and measurements to scale. The scan takes 1–2 hours on-site. Trades then quote off the same dataset, which is why we can hit accurate quotes in 24 hours without coordinating multiple site visits.

Do I have to use a specific agent?

No. SellSmart is 100% neutral on agent selection. We review your shortlist's strategy, fees, and recent performance to help you decide — but you choose. No referral fees skew our recommendations.

What does "pay on settlement" actually mean?

Most prep work can be funded now and paid back from your sale proceeds at settlement — nothing out of your pocket upfront. We partner with established Australian funders including CampaignAgent, Property Credit, Rello, Realty Assist, and RealFlow. Approval is subject to each provider's eligibility criteria; the SellSmart team helps you compare options.

Which areas does SellSmart service?

SellSmart currently services Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia, with new regions added regularly. If you're outside these states, reach out — our team will let you know if your area is in our pipeline.

Is there a minimum or maximum project size?

No general minimums or maximums. Whether you have a clear plan and just need help connecting with the right trades, or you're starting from scratch and don't know where to begin — SellSmart is built for both. Some clients do a $5,000 paint refresh; others run $80,000 full-prep campaigns.

How are your trades vetted?

Every trade in the SellSmart network is checked for licensing, insurance, and on-platform reputation. Clients rate work after every project, and underperforming trades are removed. The only way for a trade to stay in the network is to keep delivering.

What if I just want to sell, not prep?

You can use SellSmart purely for the agent comparison and selling-strategy review — no prep work required. The agent guidance, suburb research, and sale-cost calculations are free regardless of whether you take on any prep at all.
